Main Purpose:
As a Sustainability Business Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's sustainability initiatives and driving our commitment to environmental and social responsibility. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across functions and external partners across industry to develop and implement sustainable business practices, monitor progress, and promote Unilever as a leader in sustainability. Your efforts will contribute to our overall sustainability strategy and help us achieve our sustainability goals.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Sustainability Strategy Development and Implementation:
• Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's sustainability strategy and action plans, especially Plastics agenda.
• Conduct research on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to sustainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for integrating sustainability into business operations.
• Support the development of sustainability policies, guidelines, and procedures.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
• Track and report on key sustainability performance indicators for 4 pillars: climate, nature, plastics and livelihoods.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to sustainability as well as communication materials internally and externally.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of sustainability goals and initiatives.
• Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and community organizations to foster sustainable business partnerships.
• Participate in sustainability-related industry events, conferences, or networks to stay updated on emerging trends and best practices.
4. Project Management and Administration:
• Coordinate and support sustainability projects, including planning, contracts, resource allocation, monitoring, partnership strengthening.
• Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
• Assist in organising sustainability events and meetings

Relevant Experience
• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Familiarity with environmental and social impact assessment methodologies.
