🎯 Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented and outcome-driven leader to serve as our Head of Program & Community Events. This person will bring deep expertise in event management across all scales—from workshops to high-profile forums—and exceptional ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders including government , corporate partners, experts, suppliers, and youth.
With an ecosystem-builder mindset, the Head will go beyond flawless execution, by using rigorous planning and SOPs to ensure every program not only runs seamlessly, but also addresses client priorities and generates lasting value for all stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Leadership & Execution
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and evaluation of events of varying scales for diverse stakeholders
Ensure smooth operations through careful planning, risk management, and attention to detail.
Oversee event budgets, contracts, and suppliers with precision and accountability.
2. SOP Development & Process Excellence
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all programs and events.
Establish clear processes and checklists to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality delivery.
Continuously improve systems to streamline workflows, document and strengthen institutional knowledge.
3. Program Development & Value Creation
Translate client and partner needs into impactful, well-structured program designs.
Work closely with experts and partners to co-create programs that align with client needs and generate measurable value for every stakeholder involved
Ensure every program delivers tangible value to clients, youth participants, experts, and community partners.
Collaborate with internal teams to integrate communication, storytelling, and impact measurement.
4. Stakeholder Coordination & Partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate partners, experts, universities, and community leaders.
Act as the senior point of contact, ensuring trust and long-term partnerships.
Confidently represent the organization in external meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
5. Team Management & Development
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of junior to mid-level program/community officers
Delegate effectively while coaching juniors to take ownership of specific components.
Build a learning culture where juniors gradually evolve into strong program/community managers with concrete timeline
Qualifications
7–8 years of experience in education, communication, and event/program management, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder events.
Strong project management and organizational skills: detail-oriented, structured, and outcome-driven.
Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce SOPs to ensure smooth, consistent delivery.
Excellent coordination skills with diverse stakeholders (government, corporates, experts, media, suppliers, youth).
Strong leadership and team development experience.
Fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
Passion for community development, sustainability,youth empowerment, and building impactful programs.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in CSR/ESG projects or international programs.
Ability to balance big-picture strategy with operational precision.
A connector mindset: enjoys bringing people together and creating shared value.
